Tessa and Taryn suggested the idea of throwing a shower for Lauren (due August 10) and Lindsey (due November 10) while we were all in Montana over the Fourth of July.
As usual, Taryn came through with an adorable idea for cookie favors
- shaped like cupcakes and “onesies” - which we all decorated the night before. How fun it was to sit around the kitchen table with all of my daughters, armed with squirt bottles filled with different colored frosting, and all sorts of fabulous decorations.
It took all five of us about 2 hours (yes, that’s ten man hours just for the decorating alone!). Time intensive, but so much fun.
Our friends in Bigfork/Kalispell were so kind and generous to support the girls as they get ready to have their first babies! Adorable outfits, beautiful handmade blankets, super soft little snugglies, it was amazing! Yes, lots of pink – both babies are girls.
