Dean's Farewell Party July 31, 2011

Family and friends (about 60+) gathered to wish Dean well as he leaves for his two year mission to Prague, Czech Republic. Thanks to Taryn and Lindsey (Taryn always has the best, most current ideas and Lindsey and I eagerly partner with her to put on a nice spread), the food was a hit.

Look at Grahm digging in! For the last 5 years, every time Dean threw a party, he always requested that we have the chocolate fountain. He asks me in a way that makes me think: either he thinks this is a huge deal, or he thinks I might say no. But how can you say no? He and his friends love it and, as you can see, they always hang out right by the chocolate fountain.

Friends gathered inside and outside. The weather was perfect! Ahhh, Montana in the summer!

The next day, Dean gave his farewell talk in church in front of about 1300 people. It was one of those Canadian holidays that can draw over a thousand people to our ward.














Reese's first crush -- she has had a crush on Connor for more than a third of her life!
